Ingredients

  • 5 oz Rosé Wine
  • 1 cup Watermelon Cubes, seedless
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Pour the rosé wine into ice cube trays and freeze until firm, for at least 6 hours to achieve a slightly icy consistency.
  2. Cube the watermelon and freeze on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan until firm, for at least 4 hours.
  3. Once frozen, transfer the wine and watermelon cubes to a plastic bag and freeze for up to a month.
  4. Prepare the simple syrup by combining the sugar and water, heating them until the sugar dissolves.
  5. When ready to serve, blend the frozen wine and watermelon until smooth. Allow them to defrost at room temperature for a few minutes if necessary.
  6. Gradually add the simple syrup, tasting as you go, to achieve the desired level of sweetness.
