Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dairy-free condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup whiskey (Jameson's Whiskey is recommended)
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free milk
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free cream or alternative (optional for a creamier version)
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate sauce or 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee (mixed with a little water to make a paste)

Instructions

  1. In a cup or small jug, mix the chocolate sauce (or cocoa powder), vanilla extract, and instant coffee until the coffee has dissolved.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a blender, then add the dairy-free condensed milk, dairy-free milk, and dairy-free cream if using.
  3. Blend the ingredients, ensuring the condensed milk has cooled if made from scratch.
  4. Pour in the measured amount of whiskey (adjust to taste) and blend briefly. Avoid over blending to prevent the mixture from becoming frothy.
  5. Pour the liqueur into a 1-liter container and chill in the fridge.
  6. To serve, shake the bottle well and pour over ice or add to hot chocolate for an extra touch of luxury.
