Ingredients

  • 1 pitted date
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp dried apricots
  • a pinch of mixed spice
  • 2 tbsp brandy
  • 1/2 vanilla pod, seeds only
  • 1 cup sweetened almond milk
  • ice
  • nutmeg, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, soak the date, cashews, apricots, and mixed spice in the brandy overnight.
  2. The following day, transfer the soaked mixture into a blender and add the vanilla seeds and almond milk. Blend until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  4. Grate some nutmeg on top and enjoy.
