Tropical Cinnamon Pineapple Sour
A tropical twist on the classic Rum Sour, with pineapple juice, cinnamon, and a velvety texture from egg white.
Ingredients
- 1.50 oz Appleton Estate 8 yr Rum
- 1 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 3/4 oz Brown Sugar Syrup (1:1)
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 Egg White
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (excluding cinnamon powder) in a shaker.
- Shake vigorously without ice for at least 30 seconds.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake again until the shaker becomes very cold to the touch.
- Strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder.
