A refreshing cocktail featuring tangerine, mint, tequila, and passionfruit syrup, with a hint of Suze gentian liqueur and a sprinkle of chia seeds for added texture, topped with a mist of Montelobos mezcal.
Ingredients
- 1/2 tangerine, peeled and cut in 2
- 3 large mint leaves
- 1/2 oz. agave simple syrup
- 3/4 oz. Liber Passionfruit syrup
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 1 1/2 oz. Libelula tequila
- 1/2 oz. Suze gentian liqueur
- Barspoon prepped chia seeds for garnish
- Fresh mint sprig for garnish
- Montelobos mezcal (in a mist bottle)
Instructions
- Place the tangerine, mint, and agave simple syrup in an empty cocktail shaker.
- Gently muddle the ingredients to release the tangerine juice and mint flavor without over-mixing.
- Add the Liber Passionfruit syrup, lime juice, Libelula tequila, and Suze gentian liqueur to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Sprinkle 1-2 barspoons of prepped chia seeds on top of the drink.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and mist with one pump of Montelobos mezcal using a mist bottle.
