Ingredients

  • 1/2 tangerine, peeled and cut in 2
  • 3 large mint leaves
  • 1/2 oz. agave simple syrup
  • 3/4 oz. Liber Passionfruit syrup
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 1/2 oz. Libelula tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Suze gentian liqueur
  • Barspoon prepped chia seeds for garnish
  • Fresh mint sprig for garnish
  • Montelobos mezcal (in a mist bottle)

Instructions

  1. Place the tangerine, mint, and agave simple syrup in an empty cocktail shaker.
  2. Gently muddle the ingredients to release the tangerine juice and mint flavor without over-mixing.
  3. Add the Liber Passionfruit syrup, lime juice, Libelula tequila, and Suze gentian liqueur to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  5. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  6. Sprinkle 1-2 barspoons of prepped chia seeds on top of the drink.
  7. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and mist with one pump of Montelobos mezcal using a mist bottle.
