Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon hot water
- 2 oz. Plymouth or Citadelle gin
- 1 oz. fresh lime juice
- 3/4 oz. Giffard Abricot du Roussillon liqueur
- 1/2 oz. Blume Marillen apricot eau-de-vie
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 1 kumquat (optional), halved
Instructions
- Dissolve sugar in hot water in a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice.
- Add gin, fresh lime juice, apricot liqueur, apricot eau-de-vie, and Peychaud's bitters to the shaker.
- Cover the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until chilled.
- Place the halved kumquat in a chilled coupe glass.
- Strain the cocktail into the glass.
