Ingredients
- 1/2 cup thick plain yogurt
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin (coarsely crushed)
- 3 large mint leaves
- 2-3 sprigs of cilantro leaves
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of sugar
- 1/2-inch fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1/2 green chili, slit in half and seeds removed
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the yogurt, water, roasted cumin, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, ginger, salt, and sugar.
- Blend until smooth, and strain if a smoother texture is desired.
- Add the green chili to infuse the mixture in a jar. For a spicier drink, blend the green chili with the other ingredients.
- Enjoy cold with a few ice cubes.
