Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Tajín Clásico Seasoning
  • 1 lime wedge
  • 2 ounces mezcal
  • 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau

Instructions

  1. Spread Tajín seasoning into an even layer on a small saucer.
  2. Cut a 1/4-inch-deep notch crosswise in the lime wedge.
  3. Place the lime wedge on the rim of a chilled old-fashioned glass and slide it around the outer edge to moisten the rim.
  4. Roll the moistened rim in the seasoning mix to coat and set aside.
  5. In a cocktail shaker, combine mezcal, pineapple juice, lime juice, and Cointreau, then fill with ice.
  6. Shake the mixture until fully combined and well-chilled, about 15 seconds.
  7. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass, half-filled with ice or with 1 large ice cube.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
