Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Frozen Raspberries
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar (add more if desired)
  • Raspberry Schnapps, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Raspberry Syrup
  • 1/2 bottle Hefeweizen beer (Erdinger Weißbier or similar)
  • 1/4 bottle cold Champagne or Sparkling Wine
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Fresh Raspberries and Mint Leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, thaw the frozen raspberries slightly and mix them with the powdered sugar.
  2. Pour in the desired amount of raspberry schnapps and raspberry syrup over the raspberries.
  3. Let the mixture sit for about 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, pour in the Weißbier and champagne or sparkling wine.
  5. Add ice cubes and garnish with fresh raspberries and mint leaves if desired.
