Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 1 oz Everclear (or quality vodka)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1.25 oz sugar
- 1/8 vanilla bean
- cheesecloth

Instructions
- Zest the lemon using a zester or grater and place the zest in a container with Everclear to infuse for a week.
- Warm the milk, sugar, and vanilla bean in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved, then allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Discard the vanilla bean, strain the milk mixture, and combine it with the infused Everclear.
- Strain the combined mixture, using cheesecloth, and funnel it into a bottle.
- Store the bottled mixture in the freezer, leaving room for expansion, and use within six months. Serve in chilled glasses.
