Ingredients
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1/4 cup blackberries
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- In a saucepan, soften the blackberries and raspberries with 1/2 cup of water over low to medium heat until very soft.
- Separate the juices and seeds using a hand food mill or a fine mesh strainer. Allow the fruit juice to cool, and discard the seeds and skins.
- In another saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the water to make a simple syrup.
- Combine the simple syrup, lemon juice, and the blackberry and raspberry puree in a pitcher.
- Serve the lemonade over ice and garnish with fresh mint.
