Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc (750ml)
  • 2 cups peaches or nectarines, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups berries (any variety or mix of varieties)
  • 2 pints fruit sorbet (any flavor)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine half the wine and the peaches or nectarines. Puree until smooth and pour into a container with a lid.
  2. In the same blender, combine the remaining wine and the berries. Puree until smooth and pour into a separate container with a lid.
  3. Place both containers in the freezer and freeze for a minimum of 12 hours.
  4. Remove the containers from the freezer and use a knife to break up the frozen wine and fruit slightly.
  5. Empty the contents of one container into the blender, add 1 cup of fruit sorbet, and blend until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into glasses, filling them halfway. Repeat the blending process with the other container of frozen wine and fruit, then fill the glasses to the top.
  7. Top each glass with a scoop of sorbet and serve immediately.
