Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 (3.2 ounce) bars Chocolove 70% dark chocolate
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce creme de cacao
  • 1 1/2 ounces dark chocolate fudge sauce, plus extra for drizzling inside the glass
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate malt powder
  • 2 ounces half and half
  • Dash of chocolate bitters
  • Crushed chocolate malted milk balls for rimming the glass

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the chocolate fudge sauce. Combine the heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, and half of the chocolate in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently until the chocolate melts. Remove from heat and add the remaining chocolate, butter, and vanilla. Stir until all the chocolate has melted. Let it cool before proceeding to make the cocktails.
  2. To prepare the cocktails, drizzle some of the dark chocolate fudge sauce on a small plate and place crushed chocolate malted milk balls on another plate. Rim the glass in the salted caramel, followed by the crushed malted milk balls. Drizzle some of the chocolate fudge sauce on the inside of the glass and fill it with crushed ice.
  3. Add a few ice cubes to a cocktail shaker, then pour in the vodka, creme de cacao, chocolate fudge sauce, chocolate malt powder, half and half, and chocolate bitters. Shake for 20-30 seconds, then pour into the prepared glass. Enjoy this divine indulgence!
