Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
  • 1/4 ounce spiced brown sugar syrup
  • Juice of 1 clementine (about 1 ounce)
  • 1 egg white (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Luxardo Amaretto
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker with ice and add the bourbon, curaçao, brown sugar syrup, and clementine juice (and egg white, if using). Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  2. Swirl enough amaretto inside a chilled coupe glass to coat the inside.
  3. Strain the shaken drink into the coupe glass.
  4. Top with the dashes of Angostura bitters.
  5. Garnish with a ribbon of clementine peel.
