Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cherry lemon lime soda
  • 2 tbsp homemade cherry syrup
  • 2 tbsp half & half
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream and maraschino cherry for topping

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the maraschino cherries and cherry juice from a 16 oz jar, along with sugar. Blend until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  2. Refrigerate the cherry syrup for at least 3 hours until thickened and chilled.
  3. In a glass, add ice cubes, then pour in 1/2 cup of cherry lemon lime soda.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of homemade cherry syrup to the glass.
  5. Top with 2 tablespoons of half & half.
  6. Optionally, garnish with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
  7. Stir before enjoying!
